1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AfriaMove application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

AfriaMove provides a digital platform that connects Users (passengers) with independent third-party Drivers. AfriaMove does not provide transportation services. We are a technology broker; the contract for the ride is between the User and the Driver.

3. User Accounts

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate phone numbers and payment information.

  • Security: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Payments and Cancellations

  • Pricing: Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and demand. Estimates provided in the app are not guarantees.

  • Payment Methods: Users may pay via Credit/Debit Card, or Mobile Money where available.

  • Cancellations: A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel a ride after a driver has already been dispatched or has arrived at your location.

5. User Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Treat drivers with respect and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.

  • Not use the service for any unlawful purposes (transporting illegal goods).

  • Follow all local safety regulations, including wearing seatbelts.

6. Limitation of Liability

AfriaMove is not liable for:

  • The conduct, actions, or omissions of any Driver.

  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during a ride.

  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or mechanical failure.

  • Maximum Liability: To the extent permitted by law, AfriaMove’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride in question.

7. Privacy Policy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your location data to facilitate the "Waiting for Driver" and "Map" features.

8. Modifications to Service

AfriaMove reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service, or change pricing structures, at any time with or without notice.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of whichever.
